Review articles will be sent for an initial peer review, before an editorial decision will be taken as to whether the article is relevant to the journal.
- Case reports
Case reports concerning eye diseases should give new information, such as novel examination findings, new treating methods or new ideas. Clear figures are required for morphology. Case studies should be no longer than two printed journal pages.
- Short communications
Short communications containing pertinent and interesting observations concerning clinical research in general and reports on new observations or studies that do not warrant publication as a full research article will be considered. Short communication articles undergo full peer review.
